Background-

CarMoney has launched VanMoney.uk, a dedicated van finance business that helps UK buyers fund new and used light commercial vehicles (LCVs).

The website serves sole traders, limited companies and private buyers. It offers Hire Purchase (HP) and Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) deals from UK lenders.

Customers fill in one application and reach several commercial lenders. They can run a no-obligation eligibility check first, and it leaves their credit score untouched. VanMoney also supports applicants with past credit issues, subject to lender criteria and affordability checks.

The site also lists exclusive new van deals from dealer partners across the UK. Current offers save buyers around 30% on selected Peugeot and Citroën models, including the Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Dispatch and Citroën Berlingo, subject to availability.

CarMoney CEO Alastair Grier said the growing van market made this the right time to launch. He said van buyers want the right vehicle for the job and a finance package that suits their business, and VanMoney brings both together.

Grier said CarMoney already has strong experience in vehicle finance, but vans have their own needs. A dedicated service, he said, lets his team serve every buyer, whether they choose new or used, trade as a sole trader or limited company, or have a more complex credit history.

The launch follows Japanese trading group ITOCHU Corporation’s acquisition of CarMoney earlier this year. VanMoney is a trading name of CarMoney Limited and works as a credit broker, not a lender.
