Background-
NFON AG has appointed Neil Coulthard as head of sales and managing director of NFON UK, effective October 1, 2026. He will focus on the Channel, enterprise business and new openings across the company’s AI-powered portfolio.
Coulthard will report to Jennifer Fritsch, vice president small and midsize sales at NFON AG. He will lead UK sales and partner development. His duties include strengthening current partner ties, cross-selling and upselling, signing new strategic partners and growing the enterprise business. The expanded AI-powered portfolio also gives partners with matching skills and customer bases new ways to work with NFON.
Alexander Wettjen, executive vice president group sales and marketing at NFON AG, said the UK market is changing and so are the chances for NFON and its partners. He said Coulthard knows where the business comes from and where the market is heading. Wettjen said the appointment shows NFON’s commitment to the UK and its aim to speed up growth there.
NFON plans to sharpen its profile in the UK market by working more closely with partners and building its image as an innovative and trustworthy provider.
Coulthard said partners drive growth in the UK. He said he will start by listening to the team, partners and customers, then turn those insights into joint plans. He said cloud telephony will stay at the core while NFON moves quickly on its wider AI-powered communications portfolio.
Coulthard joins from Charterhouse Group, where he was director of sales operations. He was earlier channel director at Focus Group and held senior sales leadership roles at Gamma. He brings experience in sales leadership, channel development and business communications, along with a strong network across the UK communications market.
